One of the best wheat beers I have tasted. Sweet banana aroma. Sweet, acidic and fresh taste, some banana and fruits found there. Full mouthfeel to be a lager.

Powerful fascinating aroma includes bananas and a truck load of yeast. Smooth, slightly sweet flavor is nice and fresh. Moderate carbonation. A well done traditional hefeweizen.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 4, 2004
(Tapped at brewpub Teerenpeli, Heisinki) Very hazy, dark golden color with a very small head. Sweet and pleasant, fruity banana and bubblegum aroma. Sweet, citric banana and strawberry flavor. Medium-bodied, oily palate with medium carbonation. Except for the head, a very traditional and pleasant hefeweizen.

Opaque light tan. Lots of banana, and a little bit of marshmallow and nutmeg in the aroma. Sweet, slightly spicy palate. Moderate body.

tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - JUL 6, 2011
Tap @ Teerenpeli, Tampere. Pours cloudy golden amber with a small off white head leaving some lace. A citric, wheat, hoppy, bananas, sweet, yeast and fruity. Flavor is velvety lean, oily thick, like aroma, very nice. Finishes with a well balanced bitter sweet and yeasty aftertaste. Excellent weizen.

On tap at Teerenpeli, Helsinki. Poured hazy dark orange in colour with white head. Banana and light hints of wheat in aroma. Flavour quite similar. Well carbonated. Pleasant sweetish aftertaste.

Tap. Hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma of banana, wheat and yeast. Some apricot in flavor. Smells and tastes like a Paulaner hefe. Well done.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Distinct clove aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is nicely spicy, mostly clove, little citrus. Quite bitter for a Hefeweizen, and also quite sweet. But quite good, could have been made in Germany. High carbonation. 7 3 7 3 16

Draught, 5.3% at EBF08. Spicy aroma, clove. Cloudy yellow colour. Big white head. Good spicy flavour, clove, slightly sweet. Light but good mouthfeel. 6 3 6 3 13
