3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Oktoberfest, North Bar, Leeds. Pours a clear amber, two fingers of pillowy head. Classic German look. Aroma is standard lager-ish meh. Taste is great, though, fairly juicy at the start before a bitter hoppiness feels like it crushes that sense of flamboyance. Full bodied, long, creamy finish. Refreshing and thirst quenching. This is very nice.
Farbe: gold klar
Schaum: schnell minimalist

Starchy pale lager aroma. Real full malty lager taste. Smooth palate, a bit milky. Very drinkable. Finish has nice fresh herbal and perfumy hops. Very solid lager once you're past the starchiness in the aroma.

500ml bottle (thanks Viil). Clear golden color. Huge size, thick white head, stays. Grainy, caramel, buttery and spicy grassy hops in aroma. Grainy, spicy hops, caramel in taste. Medium carbonation. Grainy in aftertaste. Very easy to drink. Solid brew. glennmastrange (2942) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 25, 2017
Bottle. Moderate grain and cereal for the malt, light herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with sugar and light dried fruit in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white, with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is sparkling clear gold. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, with a lively to fizzy carbonation. There is a noticeable amount of sweetness, making this Helles quite different than the others I’ve had in Bavaria. Piw (1292) - Rüsselsheim, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2017

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2017 Bottle at Beerdock Leek. Pours a clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of bready malts, some grain, slight honey and herbal hops. Taste of bready malts, some grain, slight honey, a little butter, a hint of sulphur and subtle herbal hops. Light to medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, bready, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. On the plus side its got some nice herbal hops but its also quite sweet, honeyed and a slight hint of sulphur in the taste.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Pale gold. Clear as a bell. Thin, very sticky, bright white head. Looks great. Grassy hop. Sugar cane malts. Leafy and a tad spicy. Taste has bready sweetness. Some leafy bitterness. Fairly clean. Could be a bit more crisp, maybe. Gets a little sweet toward the end. Ok.
