Flöska. Clear amber colour, medium beige head. Aroma of roasty caramel and dark malts with bread. Good mouthfeel. Sweet dark malty bready flavour with caramel and a bit dark fruit. SamGamgee (2585) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - NOV 17, 2010
Draught at Kopfeck. Clear brown with a big creamy head. Sweet bready malt aroma with a sweet crusty edge. Some dryer toasty malt in the flavor but more on the sweet rounder side of malty. Light bodied and relatively dry in the finish moreso due to attenuation than melamoidins. Not that bold but a reasonable balance. asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 4, 2010
Potent breadcrust and sherry-like nutty aroma that is nearly pungent. Clear chestnut appearance with a patchy, off-white top. Flavour is sherry-like nutty with tons of bread crust and a hint of cardboard. Balance is on the sweet side, but this beer would not be better if it were more bitter. Quite decent, for style. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly tangy nutty finish. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2010
The color is dark amber and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, syrup and light nuts. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, syrup, caramel, nuts and the finish is slightly dry. It’s a really nice dunkel.

Darker amber coloured, small off-white head, weak notes of nuts in the nose. Mild roasted malt, milk chocolate and caramel with light coffee notes in rather sweet finish. All in all could be better.
500 ml bottle. 5.5%. From Germany (beerangel.com).Marko (6088) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 26, 2010

Poured a brown bodym relatively pale, with a medium sized off white head that went away relatively fast. Some roasty malt in the nose, weak. The taste delivers on the weak promise. Too watery, light roastiness, not too sweet, not too bad, not interesting.
Bottle 0,5 l, 5.5%. Amber brown, off white head. Nose has some metal, some caramel and maybe milk chocolate. Flavor is very slightly roasty, fudge and maybe alcohol and sweetener. Not the best, but also not my favourite style.
