Bottle 50cl. Pours a mahagony coloured, clear brew with small, quickly disappearing head. Dark malts, red berries, slightly sour. Fruity. Well composed and harmonic impression. Easy to drink. Great!

#202 Erfrischend und vollmundig zugleich; geschmacklich auf der malzigen Seite. Schlicht und ergreifend gelungen! Test vom 30.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,10,14,12,11,12 - 11,95

Light dunkel with very little head, but enough. Malty aroma, with a fizzy tasting fresh flavour. The beer lacks any real depth but it fits the key criteria of refreshing perfectly.

rozsoma (1163) - Gyõr, HUNGARY - MAY 31, 2016
On tap @ Tegernseer Tal, Starkbierzeit 2016. Vizes, szotyis igazi dunkel. Könnyen iható, átlátszó és édes, ellenben hamar elfogy.

On tap at Tegernseer Brauhaus, Munich. Clear light brown color. Light toasty malt aroma.Taste is right on, toast and caramel malts. Easy drinking mellow dunkel. Paired well with grilled sausages and cabbage. I could see myself sessioning this. Solid dunkel.

rauchbier (3949) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2003
Bottled. Bronze colour, good off white head and nice level of fine, natural condition. Aromas of sweet malt tinged with roast barley, some hop notes and a handfull of crystal malt. Mainly roasted malt and caramel in the mouth and a relatively brief finish with a touch of roast coffee and a delicate hoppiness

johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2004
This reminded me of a light mild rather than a Dunkel which I usually think of as darker than this beer. Quite malty, easy to drink and a pleasant sweetness.Different and quite pleasant.
