Bottled. A chestnut brown coloured dunkel with little head. The aroma is on the thin side with only a little nuttiness. The taste is also thin with only a little caramel and nut coming through. I thought it seemed too cold (drank @ The Criterion Leicester) and maybe suffered for that? But not a good dunkel. raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - JAN 24, 2010
Bottle 0,5 l, 5.5%. Amber brown, off white head. Nose has some metal, some caramel and maybe milk chocolate. Flavor is very slightly roasty, fudge and maybe alcohol and sweetener. Not the best, but also not my favourite style. edpeg (906) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 12, 2013
Pours brown to reddish hue with clear body and thick off-white head. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, hops, some fruits. Palate is medium full bodied, but watery, and carbonation and mouth feel. Taste is malty, sweet, roasty with some dryness and weak flavors of hops. Overall not quite interesting a Dunkel, but drinkable. Seems to get a bit more character when warming up. A sort of muddy malt body with a light hop bitterness. Even though generally well regarded my experience of Tegernseer products has not been favourable. MrRomero (1976) - Nolanville, USA - SEP 11, 2007
500ml bottle: poured clear light brown with ruby notes. Smallish off white head. Mild roasted malt aroma and light fruit notes. Very mild malt in the flavor with a little bit of fruit. Maybe some cherries. Pretty thin overall but easily drinkable.

Poured a brown bodym relatively pale, with a medium sized off white head that went away relatively fast. Some roasty malt in the nose, weak. The taste delivers on the weak promise. Too watery, light roastiness, not too sweet, not too bad, not interesting.
was disappointed by this. had an overwhelming immediate brown sugar taste that was hard to disregard in order to appreciate other flavours. and it was flat and lame
