Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours dark copper colored with high, fine off-white head. Smell has lots of sweet malts and caramel. Aroma is very caramelly, slight sweet with raisins, soft woody. Middle part is slight hoppy bitter, with some caramel, toffee and butter. Goes into a wooden malty finish with toffee and some sweet chocolate.

Bottle. Very aromatic herb nose - rosmarin, lavendar on sweet malt. Golden brown, off-white cream. Medium to light malt base, light nutty roast and molassis, fruity notes - wellpackaged. Could be a bit more chewy - a bit light on the finish, subtle hop notes retronasal.

It is a good dark beer. It tastes malt and coffee and the sweetness is well balance with the bitterness. I was drinking this beer in a Thai restaurant and with the red curry, it was perfect.

Bottle. Amber / brown with small beige head. Smooth and creamy palate. Little sugar, malts and a bit cakey if you know what I mean. If you don’t try some our kid. It’s nice.

thewolf (12932) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2009
Bottle, bought @ Ambrosetti, Berlin.
Pours copper with a smallish, off-white, frothy head. Sugary and malty aroma. Light roasted, some caramel and a bit of grassy hops. Impressive creamy mouthfeel for the ABV, soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet, light metallic, lots of caramel and a fine roasted note that lends the beer a good dryness and adds some chocolate tones to the aftertaste. Very drinkable.
