SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - NOV 17, 2010
Draught at Kopfeck. Clear brown with a big creamy head. Sweet bready malt aroma with a sweet crusty edge. Some dryer toasty malt in the flavor but more on the sweet rounder side of malty. Light bodied and relatively dry in the finish moreso due to attenuation than melamoidins. Not that bold but a reasonable balance.

crossovert (12642) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2011
A sweet, tangy dunkel. It definitely gets better as you go. Not an outstanding dunkel but a drinkable one when in a pinch.

Bottle. Chestnut brown. Alright head. Aroma and taste is malts, caramell, toffee and a few nuts. Sour finish with a little bit of hops. Medium carbonation. Nice and easy drinking but I will always choose other Dunkel over this.
