Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - DEC 9, 2016
Bottle. Chestnut brown. Alright head. Aroma and taste is malts, caramell, toffee and a few nuts. Sour finish with a little bit of hops. Medium carbonation. Nice and easy drinking but I will always choose other Dunkel over this.

JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - JUN 17, 2007
Good, brownish head over deep-amber beer. Nutty, bready nose, autumn leaves, sweet and very malty. Nutty malts taste (maybe slightly aged?), ending on chestnut flour. Though also a bit woody, mainly one big malt explosion. Very slick, even when not very well-bodied. Long-ish sweetish aftertaste. OK Dunkel, on the sweet side.

3.2
Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - AUG 5, 2009
bottle, bought in the Hallertau. Clear deep brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Malty, lots of roasted malts and caramel, chocolate, hints of toffee and fudge. Very slightly hoppy in the finish.

3.2
Beer5000 (6628) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 15, 2009
500 ml bottle. Brown/amber body with a thin beige head, very nice. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruity and a small hint of roast. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel and slightly bitter. Easy drinkable, rather clean flavor, maybe a bit sweet. The brewery name is a lot more complex than the flavor)

3.2
