JorisPPattyn (10140) - BELGIUM - JUN 17, 2007
Good, brownish head over deep-amber beer. Nutty, bready nose, autumn leaves, sweet and very malty. Nutty malts taste (maybe slightly aged?), ending on chestnut flour. Though also a bit woody, mainly one big malt explosion. Very slick, even when not very well-bodied. Long-ish sweetish aftertaste. OK Dunkel, on the sweet side.

Nice dark copper colour, fairly low carbonation. Was possibly expecting it to taste a tad sweeter, but overall easily quaffable dunkel. Caramel and a bit of nuttiness in taste

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy bronze colour, with thin off-white head. Malty aroma with some hop notes. Light, with a roated malt flavour, easy drinking. Thinish, foamy mouthfeel. Lightly carbonated. Sweetish, with a quick, sweet , slightly hoppy finish. A fair dunkel.
