Bottle at the Criterion, Leicester. I was disappointed with this product. Slightly bland Dunkel. Smooth, clean choc, but can’t escape from the fact that it’s lagered and is very quick and ckean. I still like drinking stuff like this this, but it’s just not a great beer.

Ungstrup (38597) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 25, 2008
Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet matly combined with notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with a dry dusty note of straw, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JAN 20, 2013
Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear dark amber in colour with a very low head and thin body. Taste of brown sugar, basmati rice, caramel, burnt nuts and roasted almonds. Hints of malt and hops. Quite easy to drink but little bit too boring and dull.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Malt all the way. From start to end. Quite delicious but that malt bombardment is quite for fans.

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2017 Bottle. Amber color with big beige head. Aroma is rusty metal, caramel, a touch chocolate. Taste is similar, not too complex. Comparably dry. Not particularly good, but ok.

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a dark, orangey brown with some impurities and an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and a little overripe fruit. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, the roasted malts are shining through while the bitterness is very discreet. Quite quaffable. 060807

TBone (18414) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 17, 2009
Bottled (Beerangel, BB 06/2009).
Clear dark nut brown color, small creamy beige head. Grassy hoppy, roasted sugary or malty aroma. Caramelly malty, grassy hoppy flavor. Soft and watery. Very light toasted notes, quite sweet, more like an Vienna than a Dunkel. Light alcoholic bitterness in the aftertaste.
