Draught @ Burger House, Münich. Aroma has strong butter tones and quite nothing else. Flavour has buttery malt and mild grassy tones. Finishes with mild floury(!) and milky notes. A bit messy for a helles.

Pours clear golden color with a large head. Hay on the nose, faint grain, butter. Buttery flavor too, hay, toffee, faint hops. Not very good.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2017 Bottle. Light to moderate grain for the malt, light herbs and grass for the hops, faint leaves for the yeast with a hint of paper. Head is average to large, frothy, white, with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear straw. Flavor starts lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and slightly bitter. Palate is light, watery, with a lively carbonation. A light and almost Pilsener-like Helles. Tasty.

Bottle at Beerdock Leek. Pours a Aroma of bready malts, subtle grain, a hint of lemon and herbal hops. Taste of bready malts, subtle grain, slight honey and some herbal hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, bready, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. A simple German Helles but a good dose of German, herbal hops. Good.

Bottle at Craft Beer Tuesday (on Thursday). Pours clear golden with a decent head. Aroma is butter, strong pale malts, lightly metallic. Body is medium, softly sweet and bitter, with a low lively carbonation. Hay flavours, still light butter, flowers. Palate is dry, but a bit too flat to be called refreshing.
