330ml bottle shared by Marduk, thanks! Clear pale yellow beer, small white head. Nose is grainy and watery, some vague honey. Flavor is grainy malt and sweet notes. Finish is more grain and extracty hops. Ehh.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy, pale malts, hay. Taste is grassy, some sweet malts, crackery. Crisp carbonation. Solid, and better than their Helles...

jonas (8277) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - DEC 8, 2016

fdomig (1032) - München, GERMANY - JUL 23, 2016
330ml bottle at Terassenhof, Tegernsee. Aroma is light malt, very light citrus. Appearance is clear golden with a white foam. Taste is medium bitter and very light sweet. Medium carbonation. Good.

hauxe (1015) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - MAY 3, 2016
Pours pale gold from the bottle. The white crown collapses quickly. Aroma is pils malt, and just a touch sweet. Taste is quite dry, with a mild understated bitterness. The body is quite light, but not watery; the beer has an airy refreshing feel to it. A decent if unremarkable pilsner, but then again the Bavarians are not known for the style.

Travlr (26406) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 12, 2016
Bottle. Clear golden yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of spice and white pepper. Taste is very lightly spiced, clean, crisp. Decent.

ranger7 (8) - Texas, USA - AUG 29, 2015 does not count
Part of my balanced Bavarian meal. Very typical German pilsener; medium carbonation with healthy head, bright gold color, and balanced flavor. Nothing really stands out, just a solid pils.
