m7hildeb (176) - - OCT 31, 2016
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2016 Bottle. Clear dark brown colour with a relatively large a bit off-white head, nose is a bit shy yet bready, roasty and a little sweet and boozy, reminds of toasted black bread, taste is much fuller with a syrupy sweetness and a aftertaste of toasted malts.

3.3
Dorqui (2255) - Brescia, ITALY - JUN 8, 2006
Draught. Creamy and adherent head, optimal resistance and good volume. Dark red color with swarthy glares ; limpid, fraught and with a good fizz enough. Alcoholic and dry scent with notes of malt, must and filled with smoked wood. Medium prickly and round taste. Determined but not excessive bitter, overbearing and extended alcohol on the end.

3.3
Ungstrup (37231) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 30, 2007
Bottled. An amber beer with a fast disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, and lesser notes of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet malty with light notes of alcohol, leading to a rather bitter end. It has a good body.

3.3
Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 15, 2008
bottle, traded with pivnizub. Deep dark brwon colour, medium-sized head. Malty nose. Intensive flavours of roasetd malt, hints of caramel and malt, a shy touch of berries and dried fruit. Not too sweet, well-balanced.

3.3
JoeinDahlem (1503) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 8, 2010
Bottled. Sweetish and easily tasty dark brown beer. Nose is sweet toffee-chocolate malts with a berry note. Pretty sweet flavor but stopping just short of cloying, with only a light bitterness to check it. A bit viscous and sticky. Sweet malty aftertaste. More enjoyable with some salty food. A bit of a guilty pleasure here.

3.3
crossovert (12629) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2011
Nice looker, as a doppelbock should be. It is sweet and potent, for the lower abv relatively it is pretty alcoholic. It is one o this brewery’s better beers however.
