Bottled, gift from my mother. Clear golden colored, small white head. Malty and flowery nose, some hops. Smooth bittersweet flavor and finish. Not very complex, but very easy to drink. Nice beer.

From keg at GBBF 2013. Very pale yellow, minimal head. Sharp lager, some sweetness coming through. Uhh, that’s about all I have to say. Average lager……

Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JUN 21, 2013
50cl bottle from some grocery store in Munich. Pours a crystal clear, straw colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is somewhat grainy and lightly sweetened pils malts with a nice grassy note, a touch of spice, and a few floral fruit notes. Flavor is similar. Lightly sweetened, somewhat grainy pils malts with a nice floral note, a light grass, and a touch of spice. Finishes clean and dry with a light bitterness before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Light body and a somewhat lively, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty soild Helles. Clean and easy drinking with no off-flavors. Not bad.

clear, light golden with a beautiful, fine head. subtle, slightly sweet aroma of hay, bread, butter and some grass. very well-balanced taste and nice carbonisation.

Beermack (725) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2013
50cl bottle at Probus Wines, Dublin. Very light pale golden pour with thin white head. Aroma is bready malt and a bit of herbal spice - not too much going on. Taste brings that doughy sweet malt alongside some light earthy tones and herbaceous notes. Mouthfeel is medium - not as thin as I expected given the look of it. Some metallic notes in the finish, but not enough to be off-putting. Crisp and clean. This is certainly a tasty, uncomplicated, and sinkable lager.

Bottle - Golden beer with a white head. Straw and hay aroma. Flavour is spicy somehow. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation.

bartlebier (4123) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 6, 2013
UPDATED: NOV 16, 2013 50cl bottle, already one of more exotic choices at the adventurously stocked local Getränkemarkt. - Lighter than typical Bavarian Helles that pours a disconcerting green-yellow watery transparent, with no aroma to speak of and a taste of dusty grains, modest grassy hops and hints of generally any West-European green fruit harvested before its time. If beers were harvested, this should have remained in the soil for another month or two. Rerate very fresh xi2013: must review this modest, but very easy-drinking and exquisitly dry lager/Helles: pale malts so dry and near-smokey they could have been diluted Auchentoshan. Come to appreciate the HQ simplicity of this...

Very pilsig, light and full of hops. Not a very special beer but nice in the summer. Nice old style bottle
