Bottled. A very light coloured lager beer with nice bubbles. A crisp malty alcohol smell and a nice clean taste. Better than most lager type beers. Cuso (8616) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - DEC 29, 2012
Bottle from mein-biershop.de. Golden color with medium white long lasting head. Strong malty aroma. Taste, malt, grain, hints of metall, hints of grassy hops in finish. Hansen (8587) - Assentoft, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2006
Clear, medium yellow beer. White head, no lacing. Light sweet and hopped aroma, something odd aroma...fishy? Light alcohol palate. Svesse (8580) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 4, 2010
(Bottle, Aufsturz, Berlin, 24 july 2010) Clear yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grain, grass and tropical fruit. Malty taste with bread, grain, tropical fruit (pineapple) and grassy hops in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Well balanced and tasty with a solid malt foundation and a generous grassy hop character. Plovmand (8266) - Helsinge, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2011
Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is hay, malt, earthy hops and fruit. Floral and earthy hoppy flavour to the sweet side with some nice caramel and malty notes. Great guldøl.

REALLY Lovely fresh hay and herbal grassy hop aroma mingled with grainy malt. Dead lager looks. Smells exactly like a shrub in the back garden. Flavour grainy, grassy and hayish with a flourish of vanilla softness. Tastes like what all lager should taste like. Quality. The_Osprey (7886) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2013
From keg at GBBF 2013. Very pale yellow, minimal head. Sharp lager, some sweetness coming through. Uhh, that’s about all I have to say. Average lager…… ogivlado (7775) - Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 30, 2008
Bottled(500ml). -Pale yellow coloured, medium sized white head that went away fast, grainy nose. Caramelish malty, faint hoppy and light bready with quite dry nutty finish. Boring beer without anything Spezial here. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 11, 2003
very pale with a good greenish tinge. typical helles aroma of honey and hay. quite bitter and tangy and good sticky. nothing out of this world but still well-made and enjoyable Ernest (7663) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs, flowers), with a note of DMS.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Plain and simple. Not as bad as the Hell I had 5 years ago in Munich, though. A gift from the Knoblach brewer’s son (who brews at Tergensee).
