dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - APR 22, 2012
Bottle at cgarvieuk’s Danish Invasion tasting. Clear orangey gold, no head. Musty hop nose, hint of caramel, some earthy hops, subtle hint of citrus. Similar flavours, dry and musty, very slight sweetness with a dry lemony finish. Pretty dull.

downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 15, 2010
Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol, 15/4/10. Familiar malty Teignworthy brew, with some caramel, red fruit, and orange hops, leading to a decent, bitter finish.

madmitch76 (25344) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2009
15th August 2008. Malty start followed by a prominent sour bitterness. Quite a distinct fruit at the end. A bit too harsh.

Cask at The Artillery Arms, Ramsgate: Dark amber coloured bitter. Fruity with caramel and diacetyl. Cloying and not easy to drink. I wasn’t very impressed really, was bored of after about a 3rd of a pint.

Fin (10834) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2006
Cask at Well House Tavern, Exeter, Devon, 12-11-06. Dark amber coloured beer, very good, fruity robust with a lovely long finish rather liked this.

TBone (18099) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 30, 2006
Bottled. (BB 10/2006). Copper brown color, small off-white head. Interesting (and odd) aroma of metal, yeast, oak and ash. Malty backbone in the medium-strength body, fruity yeastyness and hoppy finish. Some way reminds me about RCH Pitchfork - just not as good as it.

DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2006
Cask Stillage at the St John Ambulance Hall, Newton Abbot 08/03/2003 Amber golden coloured and slightly sweet on the palate. Some sour flabour in a malt finish.

3.8
JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2006
Bottle conditioned. Copper coloured with a slim off-white head. Sweet malt and light hops in the nose. Flavours are similar, with some citrus and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied, light carbonation. A very nice bitter.

4.5
imdownthepub (15137) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2003
Bottle Conditioned aged 5 years. Bronze, red orange body lasting head. This beer had developed into a smooth honeyed beer, rose wine character, sweet malt and delicate bitter notes. Well worth the effort of long storage, it becomes a classical English Bitter. Georgeous.

3.1
omhper (25565) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 17, 2002
Sampled cask conditioned. Fruity, sweet flowery aroma. Medium bodied, hint of citrus. Sharp, strong, lingering bitterness.
