COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
This is a light bronze coloured ale, full of Golding Hops, which gives it a flower/fruity aromatic finish. The ale is brewed due to the head brewer’s love of shooting and his dogs that frequent the office, who are Teal and Twiggy!

Half pint, cask ale at Hour Glass Inn. Golden-brown body, low beige head leaving rings of lace down the glass. Leafy hops and dark dough on the nose. Leafy hoppy flavours with a nice malty support. Malt-fruity bitterness towards the ending. Tasty bitter, like it. (Pub crawl with Finn in Exeter 28.9.2016).

Could be a decent session beer. Very drinkable. Quite hoppy, but still with a traditional malty taste, making it very quaffable.

On tap at some restaurant in Teignmouth. Had with fish and chips. Almost nutty in flavour and the usual dark amber pour. Nice enough.

ALLOVATE (3015) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 20, 2011
Cask, handpump @ The Powder Monkey, Exmouth, Devon.
Produced up a light burnished copper and sparkling. Big, full crown, just off-white that is lasting and shades the glass well with froth. Malty, toffee, salted peanuts and fresh baked oat cookies on the nose, thick and clean. Good lot of malt on the palate, biscuity but dry, gritty and grainy with a good whack of peppery, spicy and earthy, undeniably floral hops. Back end is bitter, rose petals and gritty malt finishing off short, dry and clean. Body is good, not too light but weighted for a great session bitter. Remarkably simple, but that seems to be the best part. Well balanced, excellent stuff!

Cask, handpump at The Cambridge Blue, Cambridge, 03.06.11 Pours amber with good clarity. The aroma is fairly standard with a little fruit and maltiness showing. Fruity in mouth and possibly a bit bigger, more full bodied and punchier than expected, some robust bitterness and a little tangy. Not bad at all. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2011
Cask conditioned at The Corinium Hotel, Cirencester. Amber with white head. The beer has reasonable depth to the malty body, bittersweet, light, a little floral, some sweet strawberry remaining on the palate with a tasty bitterness. A good, drinkable pint.
