This is a lovely golden ale with a good, hoppy, citrus taste.

Cask (backlog). Deep golden colour with a small foamy head. Aroma is mild sweet fruits, some wood, mild sap as well as some slight yeasty notes. Flavour is citrus, some tropical fruits, mild maltiness with some herbal notes too.

Fra cask på Fawn Private Members Club, Plymouth 26 Sep 16. Gyldenbrun. Filmskum. Tynn lacing. Lett ferskenaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Lett plommesmak. Blir tørr etter hvert. Lett syrlig ettersmak.

Cask ale, half pint, shared with Finn at Fawn Private Members Club. Clear golden-brown body, solid lacing rings down the glass, filmy layer. Malt-fruity aromas. Flavoured with oily hops and citrus. Rounded bittersweet tail. Refreshing and tasty (Plymouth 26.09.2016).

ManVsBeer (10467) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2016
Bottle from Sidmouth Wines, Sidmouth. Deeper golden-amber coloured ale. with a very small head. Has a very drinkable texture with a good hoppy fruitiness to it.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2016
Cask at Candlelight Inn, Bishopswood. Pours chestnut with off white froth. An earthy traditional bitter. Some toffee, dry. Good nick but nothing more than average.

Bottle in the Shed Steakhouse, Seaton. Lightly hazy amber beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Some tangy caramel. Trace of dust. Tangy dried fruits. Whisper of esters. Semi dry finish. Pretty average.

AshtonMcCobb (6605) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 23, 2015
On cask at Henry’s Bar, Paignton, Devon. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - toffee and red fruits. Taste - toffee and jam hybrid. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry tangy finish. Overall - would consider this more of a bitter or English pale ale than a golden ale.

BeerSkull (1373) - SWEDEN - JUL 12, 2014
(Bottle). Aroma and flavor of malt, grassy hops and some citrus. Unusual amount of carbonation for this type of beer.

MannyGoldberg (205) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Bottle 24th May. Darken golden with a frothy lasting head. Reasonable amount of lacing. Nose is slightly peach with a small hint of sulphur. Taste is citrus with some pineapple notes coming through. Didn't have particularly high expectations but this was pretty enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
