COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An unfiltered, dry hopped Belgian saison, our Los Padres Ale is a beer we’re sure our fathers would be proud of. Redolent with grassy and crisp grapefruit hop aromas, a slight residual sweetness balances the beer perfectly. A hint of clove and a spicy finish make this a very satisfying beer.

Draft at Milk and Hops, Chelsea. Darker orange color. Yeast, grass, and some earth. Mid-dry. Fizzy mouthfeel. Plenty of spice. Decent.

Citrus bomb. Lemon grass, bubblegum and some spice. Delucious. Had this poured from draft at Telegraph Brewing in Santa Barbara.

Tap at The Cork and Craft. Pours hazy dark orange with a large, frothy white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is ginger, black pepper, earthy hops and yeast, wheat malt and pear esters. Flavor is spicy wheat malt, light earthy hops and bitterness, ginger and black pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

>> Clear golden pour, okay foam. Nose is phenolic, plastic, glue. Taste is dusty, celery, dry, bland, paper, some vanilla cake tries to come out, but the beer overall is a dud.

Pour on tap at Tonys Darts Away, hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice lacto, lemon, funky earth into a bit of vanilla, biscuit, bread, slight white grape, touch of grain. Taste is a mix of white grape, earth, pear into some lacto, touch of lemon with a hint of funk, finishing tart, dry.

Taster at the brewery. Pretty basic saison with the expected notes. Doesn’t look or drink all that lively. Lemon, clove, some hops. Could use more carbonation.

Tap at brewery, decent saison, yellow pour, white head, nose is sweet, taste is malty, pepper, interesting.

Pours a long amber color with a slightly off white head. Didn’t get as strong of an aroma from this as I was expecting but citrus and bread came through. A sweet malty flavor upfront and a bit of citrus near the end. A little sweeter than some other saisons I’ve had, but it was good.

Draft from local- Saratoga. Orangey amber pour. Not a ton of head. Floral and some malts and bananas.
