Pours very dark brown with almost no head. Brown sugar, coffee and burnt toast aromas. Sweet nutty flavors fade into some hop presence and are followed up by roasty tones. Full on the palate with very subtle carbonation.

Can, pours clear deep dark chestnut brown with a big beige foam and aromas of cinder toffee, pine and rich dark drinking chocolate. From a can at Via Baci. Pours dark brown and makes a tan, one finger head and makes a small bit of lacing down the glass. Aroma is of malt and taste is of nutty, roasted malt.

Pours brown with little head. A bit watery and not much lacing. Nutty, malty and smokey with just a bit of hops for balance. Pretty good beer.

Pours a very dark brown and deep Ruby red with light tan head. A light cocoa, malt and grain aroma. A sweet cocoa taste with sweet and roasted malts and grains. A lingering dry malt and sweet malt aftertaste.
