Pours very dark brown with almost no head. Brown sugar, coffee and burnt toast aromas. Sweet nutty flavors fade into some hop presence and are followed up by roasty tones. Full on the palate with very subtle carbonation.

From a can at Via Baci. Pours dark brown and makes a tan, one finger head and makes a small bit of lacing down the glass. Aroma is of malt and taste is of nutty, roasted malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nitro. Pours brown with an off white head. Nutty malts, mild roast, and some hints of vanilla sweetness. Pretty good; a relatively standard brown ale.

Canned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Dark brown, small head. Chocolaty aroma with some licorice and citrus. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Hoppy, yet chocolaty. Long bitter finish. Well made, sort of brown IPA. Very American.

jflopsu (1614) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 25, 2016
Pours a very dark brown and deep Ruby red with light tan head. A light cocoa, malt and grain aroma. A sweet cocoa taste with sweet and roasted malts and grains. A lingering dry malt and sweet malt aftertaste.

StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - FEB 7, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 12, 2017 On tap. Dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted nuts and burnt toast. Taste is similar to the aroma with lots of roasted flavors. Palate is medium. Overall decent. Re-rate from can. This beer while quite impressive on tap tends loose a bit of zing when canned, its still quite good, just not great.

GTAEgeek (2218) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 12, 2016
12 oz. can. Dark, ruby brown color, with a small, dense, tan head. Nose is milk chocolate and light coffee, pecans, and syrup. Sweet and malty flavor, with a mild, pleasant bitterness. Medium body, grainy, and a bit sharp. This is a nice, full bodied, and well made brown ale. Nothing too crazy, but solid and tasty.

Ungstrup (37587) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2015
Can. A brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of bread, brown sugar, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and bread, leading to a dry finish.
