It's good, but it's far from my favorite double IPA. Not horribly complex, just dry with some hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from a can. Pours a clear, light brown color, with a medium, bubbly, tan head. The nose is rye, resin, earth, and a bit of cocoa. Very bitter and surprisingly malty. Heavy body, with a crisp, sticky, and chewy mouthfeel. This is a pretty nice, malty DIPA. Interesting.

Mad_Ferret (1027) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2016
Draught at OT.
Slight misty orange amber. Off white head
Pineapple, grapefruit and mango aroma. A bit of candy like winegums.
Taste is fruity, piney bitter and a bit hot. Marmalade/caramel and mango/pineapple with grapefruit. Quite bitter finish but also fairly creamy sweet aftertaste.
Medium to full body, soft carbonation, oily.
Slightly hot, but fruity and nice.

Canned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Cloudy amber, coarse head. Pineapple and grapefruit up front. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Resiny piney bitter finish.

From the can the poor is cloudy and a very bright orange in color, with a off white almost cream colored head that lingers over a minute after the pour, the aroma is hops balanced with citrus and a fruit almost like cranberry, the taste and sharp bitter and hoppy, there’s a nice sweetness to the overall taste that balances out the hops and makes the overall impression of the beer very palatable not too bitter not too sweet, the finish these are residual hops and sweetness on the back of the tongue on the mouth feel is medium.

Pours golden orange with a thin rocky white head with small islands of foam. Notes of earthy hops and juicy orange citrus with a final hit of spice. Nice. Mouthfeel is robust and medium-full bodied with good carb and balancing bitterness from hops.

12 oz can poured. Purchased at Molly’s near Denver. Pours a thick cloudy orange color with a ton of foam head and lace. Light citrus hops aroma. Juicy citrus splash of flavor up front with a medium bitter hop finish. Thick creamy body to it. Cool late palate. Easy drinking double, quite refreshing.

12 oz can. Pours glowing hazy golden amber with a small creamy off white head that goes to a thin fil and laces the glass.

The aroma is a bit subdued - sweet caramel malt and piney, resiny hops.

The flavor is sweet nutty caramel malts and fruit with a big piney resiny bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, more like an imperial red with to nutty caramel malts and big piney resiny hops.

This beer was strong, smooth, and good hops throughout. The nose is sweet, hoppy, a bit piney. The flavor is mild, sugary body, hoppy finish.

On tap at The Ride Festival in Telluride Town Park. Pairing: Widespread Panic - Tall Boy > Bear’s Gone Fishin’ > Fishwater, 7/11/15

Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot), with notes of yellow squash and celery. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, slightly husky, slightly unclean. Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic, lightly to moderately astringent.

Based on the Tempter IPA, I thought maybe these guys had made improvements across the board, but it doesn’t appear to be so. This is quite vegetal/husky in the nose with hardly any hop bouquet to help hide the mess. Syrupy and overly sweet in the mouth with some sourness and a slightly dirty and husky aftertaste. Another drain pour from Telluride, doggone it.
