Beautiful glowing orange-copper color. Plenty of hop bouquet, pine, grapefruit, perfume, and more. Really a mixed up mess of aromas, but in in a good way. I really like the low carbonation level. It makes it easier to enjoy the flavors without the interference of nasty carbonic acid. Uncompromisingly bitter, with just enough sweet carmel to offset. Love it.

Pours clear light golden amber, medium white head that dissipates, small bit of lacing. Aroma: Hoppy resiny wood/citrus and malt. Bitter taste & lingering bitter finish. Fairly light-medium body, high carbonation. Overall: Alright, a bit unbalanced and too soapy/astringent.

Can thanks to Jan, thanks! Pours a clear deep orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy pine and grass with a strong sweet grain backbone. Flavor has more grass and earthy pine with a bit of sweet grains and bread.

12 oz can. Canned on 16/09/08. #679. (Three Rivers Wine & Spirits) Longmont, CO.
Clear amber color with a small white head. Grainy malt, citrusy hops and moderate bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is dry citrusy hops, moderate bitterness, sweet malt and grainy dryness. Just a little unbalanced.

Clear brilliant Amber/copper under a thin ivory head. Lovely floral hop aroma with a delightful orange zest and beautiful dry hop earthiness. Smooth and piney and slightly grapefruit rind-y flavor thats complexly earthy and bitter, slightly acidic, with a mellow crisp caramalty finish.

Nitro draft @ 740 front street. The aroma is suttle with a slight malt overtone. The finish is slightly bitter, but refreshing. The nitro brings out the hops.

12oz can (courtesy of neighbor Bob) poured into a Shaker at 42. Color is a deep golden with light carbonation and just a thin white ring for a head. Aroma is citrus hops and spice. It has a medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor comes on a malty back bone with a hint of fruit some hop spice and a nice bitterness. After taste is a little more bitterness and the fruit hangs on a bit. Overall its good Pale Ale, balanced and not over done.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2017 On tap. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Not much aroma to speak of, but nothing objectionable either. Taste is dominated by pine and grapefruit in pils malt base. Palate is medium. Overall -- OK. Re-rate note-- From the can--an amber pour as opposed to the cloudy yellow I got on tap. Taste is malt forward with caramel and pine resins. Long linger bitter piney finish. This is a distinctly different beer in the can.

Copper body with a small white head. The aroma is spicy, floral hops and some sweet malt. The flavor is on the spicy side with some strong bitterness after the malt sweetness fades.
