COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We couldn’t buy the toasted malt we were looking for in this beer so we made our own. Then we mature it for ages on big spicey hops and drink as much of it as we can.

Fules (1335) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - OCT 16, 2017
Barna szín, kicsi, nagyon tartós bézs hab. Gabonás, karamelles illat, némi gyümölcsös felhanggal. Karamelles, fűszeres, enyhén gyümölcsös ízek. Könnyű, közepesen szénsavas, közepesen keserű, egy picit gyantás. Jól kiegyensúlyozott sör.

On tap at polyhistor. Deep amberish copper colour, white head with good retention. Nose is low malty notes some honey. Taste is medium bitterness with malty sweetness. Nice but a bit too hoppy bitter for me.

drjoeng (1358) - SINGAPORE - JUL 22, 2017
6%ABV. Amber. Poured out brown amber. 25SRM. Nose has aromas of honey wheat toast, sugar peanuts, roasted sweet potato. Azuki or red bean paste. Aroma of dried dates. Mouthfeel is watered honey. Palate has honey grahams, pie crusts, bread crusts, and hint of date richness, dried longan sweetness. Hop flavors are woody and noble, a little clingy on the back of the throat suggesting either simcoe or Columbus for me with a very very thin resinous or bittermelon bitter. Overall, a good good good amber. Very drinkable full-bodied, flavorful ride.

kaserov (924) - Oviedo, SPAIN - JUN 12, 2017
Amargor final suave. Seca. Interesante.

Navers (204) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - MAY 4, 2017
Bottle from Hippo Beers, Glasgow. Beer served in 8°C, Duvel Glass. Pours dark ruby, medium head. Aroma is full of ash, earthy and smoky notes, roasted malt, despite this smell is very subtle and sweet. Flavor is slightly smoky, earthy, spicy and very creamy, finished with herbal, resin bitterness and caramel, biscuit malt base. Really tasty and unique.

Tap @ KApina.
Pours dark copper color with a large head. Aroma has strong resinous hops, caramel notes, mild malty notes and grapefruits. Flavor is bitter with hops and some malts, resin, caramel notes, grapefruits and even some very faint licorice on the background. A nice bitter and fairly hoppy Amber Ale.

Bottle from Bottlecraft, Hanley. Pours a clear deep amber colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, some resin, slight orange, grapefruit, a little red fruits, a hint of earth and subtle spicy hops. Taste of toasted malts, caramel, toast, resin, some orange, slight grapefruit and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A toasty, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. A perfectly well balanced amber ale with sticky, toasty malts and spicy, resinous hops. Hint of citrus and a good mouthfeel. Nice.
