Cask at Tempest night at the Bow bar. Interesting nose. Caramel malt and pronounced tropical fruit salad vibe with the NZ hops. Good gear. Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 27, 2011
On cask at the Tempest total tap takeover at The Bow Bar. Pours a deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel, treacle, light pine and grass. Similar flavours with pumpkin quite prominent upfront. Caramel, treacle and yeast notes also. A little oily with mild carbonation and lingering black pepper and spicy hops. Alcohol is fairly present but well masked. Nice! Went back for a second pint even. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - OCT 26, 2011
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2011 Cask at Tempest night, Bow Bar. Amber, white head. Musky tropical fruit nose, hint of caramel malt. Sweet vanilla oak front, some pumpkin notes bizarrely. Orange peel, light bitter finish. Not bad. cgarvieuk (25391) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 26, 2011
