Cask @ Cask, Manchester. Clear golden with a small head. Light tasting and lightly hopped pale ale, its more crisp over any notable flavour, but still palatable.

On cask at Guilford Arms pours a clear yellow with some spitty white head. Nose has perfume, grass, lemon, light fruit, pear and passionfruit really. Flavor has lemon verbena, soap, grass, straw. Oily and bitter on the finish.

330ml bottle from Aldi. Thin white head, nice wee bit lacing. Clear golden body. Nose is tropical, mango, orange, a little dank. Good bitter flavour, bitter citrus, a bit biscuit, orange, lemon, grapefruit on the finish. Light carbonation, clean crisp mouthfeel. Tons more flavour than your standard golden ale.

Bottle from local Aldi. Theres one of their rather decent beer festivals on just now. Pours pale. Ever so slightly hazy. Thin white head. Pretty fine grapefruit aroma. Some dank tropicality too. Heady stuff for a usually fairly boring style. Nice creamy carbonation. Full mouthfeel for the ABV. Some sweetness but quickly turns sharp. Pretty bitter brew. Lemon sharpness. Quite pithy. Thin, dry cracker malt. Dry finish. Nice and easy with enough layers to keep you interested.
