Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Clear aroma of roast and coffee, with distinctive smoky notes. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee, smoke and malt and some hoppy and estery touches. Roasty aftertaste. Good.

Habanero (4639) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2017
Bottled. Pours deep brown close to black with a tiny tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffe and chocolate notes, maybe some licorice and dark fruits. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and slightly bitter. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and flat to soft carbonation. A delicious Impy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bottle, 11%. Good smokey and creamy aroma. Black colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and fruity. Has a good roasted and bready note, some dry liquorice. Raw liquorice finish. Dry but good.

Bottle shared at home. Deep black colour, a finger brown head discipates fast. Nose is smoke and definitve salt. Seawater like. Taste is medium bitterness, definitive, longlasting sharp minerality in the mouthfeel. Low smoke some ash. Very interesting and in a good way.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 16/11/2017, batch#331.

skortila (5793) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAY 4, 2017
Bottled. 33cl sample. The aroma has dark chocolate, soy, licorice. Black coloured beer with a thin, beige head. The taste is light-moderate bitter, light-moderate sweet and has roast, dark chocolate, laurel, soy sauce. Velvety mouthfeel and full bodied. Pretty decent.

vbaudry (139) - - APR 30, 2017
Nose is not very expressive. Attack of roasted malt and caramel. Body is very solid. salty. Oyster not very present, just a hint. Bitter and a bit spicy finish, astonishingly dry for the category. Overall well balanced and pleasant to drink. Not very complex.
