330 ml bottle ordered online from the LCBO. Pours a very dark brown colour with smallish light tan head. Aroma is fairly roasty with molasses, cocoa and nuts. Flavour has lots of roast and chocolate with molasses, nuts and coffee. Fine carbonation. Slick mouthfeel. Nice one. mabel (10136) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 25, 2018
[10114-20180218] 330mL bottle. Mild roast and woody sweet malt aroma. Dark cola brown body with a quick foamy off-white head. Bitter roasted malt base flavour builds up layers of sweeter thicker syrup-like notes. Full body. Tasty, great subtle hints. (7-/3/8/4/15) 3.7

Kicsi, tartós hab, fekete szín. Kakaós, csokis, pörkölt malátás illat. Csokis, kávés, fűszeres és kissé földes ízek. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Kellemes, fűszeres, kissé száraz porter.

Bottle: Chouffe glass: Creamy tan head. Blackish brown body. Aromas of tobacco, dried herbs, wood roast, manure, laurel Flavour of tobacco, toast, malts, some bitters, light tints of dried herbs/leaves and caramel... Aftertaste is bitter, toast/light roast, caramel, malts and tobacco... Low carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, watery texture. Flavour and aroma are light, watery and not that inviting. But the aftertaste seems to be the strongest part of this beer. jercraigs (11344) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 19, 2018
2018-02-18. Black body, modest frothy tan head. 3++ Aroma is relatively mild but pleasant. Lighty dusty dark malt, light cocoa, muted roast, and a whisper of a nutty accent. Flavour is similarly subtle, lightly bitter throughout, light roast malt, hints at accents of caramel, treacle and nutty notes. Lightly bitter nutty toasty malt lingers in the finish. Smooth average bodied palate. On the subtle side at times but well balanced and flavourful, very nice. 7/4/7/3-4/16+ Bottle as Tempest Elemental Dark Ale from the LCBO via online order, Toronto.

16/20 a perfect porter in my book - not too carbonated, no grit, really smooth and really chocolaty. roasted malts, coffee. huge taste for low abv.
