ABV: 5.1%. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, bread - dark bread, roasted, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark bread, sweet malt, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160709]

Bire trs brune, sans mousse, une odeur de grill, de fum, un peu damertume au got, qui disparat rapidement, larrire got redevient fum et lgrement mtallique. Dommage cette odeur. Elle mriterait une meilleure note. Dguste temprature ambiante, cela explique peut tre cela.

330 ml bottle of "Elemental Dark Ale: Robust Porter" with a BB date stamp of 23 Feb. 2017. Retrieved from Scotland in August 2016. This London style porter pours with a very dark red-brown body and a thin, weak head. Aroma: simple but pleasing aroma of dark roasted grains. Flavor: rich (after warming); well-balanced; near even bitter/sweet balance turning mildly bitter in the aftertaste. Medium body and near medium carbonation. Overall: allowed to warm but improved with further warming.

Flimsy head, nice dark body. Very harsh toasted aroma, but quite weak. Bit watery tbh. Good bitterness, lasting. Ups and downs. I like it, but I dont consider it very good. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bire)
