Bottle 500ml. @ cgarvieuk [ Lets do a chrisO Tasting ], Edinburgh, Scotland.
[ As Tempest Marmalade On Toast Seville Edition ].
Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, marmelade - fruit, moderate to heavy hoppy, perfume, orange - citrus, light earthy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, orange, zest bitter, spicy, peppery. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle at home. Pours hazy amber, tangy orange on the nose, sweet and fruity, burnt toffee. The_Osprey (8442) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2014
Keg at Cask PK. Dark orange / brick red, slightly sparkling, small off-white head. Aroma - toned down caramel, musty, orange, lager. Body is medium, touch of carbonation, pretty smooth. Taste - definite tangy marmalade and buttery malts. So ’marmalade on toast’ is a fitting description. There is also lots of lemon, burnt sugars, pine, herb. Bittersweet finish, slightly astringent. Nice balance. MalcolmTucker (924) - SCOTLAND - APR 26, 2014
Bottle. Big zesty orange aroma. Flavour is bitter orange and wholemeal bread aka marmalade on toast. Innovative and tasty.

Hazy deep amber beer, big pale cream coloured head. Nice nose of crystallised orange fruits. Palate is light and slightly crisp from the good fine carbonation. Smooth light malt base, with light malt cream. Little floralness precedes sweet crystallised orange fruits and sweet marmalade. Touches of tangerine and lemon keep things lively. Whisper of fresh orange before a light dry finish. Bitter orange linger. Very nice indeed! So much better than the regular version.
Keg at The Small Bar, Bristol. Hazy amber with white head. This gets underway with a burnt toast flavour, just after it has been scraped and yes, an orange marmalede sweetness. Not sure I got ginger, but there was a spiced hint perhaps. Interesting stuff if a little chaotic. Lonick (2509) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 1, 2014
Bottle @Home. Pours golden with a red tinge, slightly off-white head. Hoppy on the nose with orange coming through to front as you would hope. Taste wise orange again, slight black pepper which just adds a little kick to it which is lovely. I loved this. Stuartyboy (1731) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - MAR 29, 2014

Bottle on my mate’s doorstep - he’s late again. Well it’s quite chilled so not the best but I’m getting loads of tartness from the bitter orange. Long bitter finish with touch of malt. Something weirdly lagerish going on somewhere too under the hood, but then I am rather Baltic.
