2016 December. The southern, Edinburgh. Half pint. Pours pale honey yellow and a tiny bit opaque with a gorgeous head. Scent is light weizen yeast and some pale malt. Tiny bit skunky. Taste is awesome saison properties on some clove/banana like weizen notes. Some body of early hops. Tiny bit sticky. Very good session ale.

Cask at Bow Bar. Clear pale golden body with a thin white head. Good lacing. Aroma of straw, lemon peel and white grape. Flavour of underripe pear, melon rind and white bread. Thin to medium body with a flat, oily texture. There’s an underripe, almost sour finish to this. A solid session beer.

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Festival ’16. Gold to bronze with white head. There is a richer, grainy, malty body, perhaps a touch of porridge but pleasant enough, this is enhanced with an earthy, leafy hop note, nicely bitter and drying. Pretty good.

Handpump @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours clear and vivid golden with a medium head. Aroma of fresh fruits, peach, citrus, grapes and a tropical touch, biscuits. Flavour is perfectly balanced, light malt profile with a good bitter end, dry and super drinkable. Light body, light carbonation. What a great session!
