Pours hazy amber with a large head.
Nose shows floral perfume-like notes, soft farmhouse saison yeast, clean sweet malt and floral honey.
Big honey notes as a flavour, a bit eucalyptus-like with woody and floral notes. Also a minty character. Finishes dry but then a little more honey shows up.
Carbonation seems a little excessive. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Bottle from Swords, present from my wife. Nice, very spicy. Aromas of grain, hay, bread. Taste is sweet, with sour notes, and long length. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Yellow, with a frothy head. krisholio (1) - - JUL 16, 2012 does not count
Floral, palate cleansing beer that just lacked ever so slightly in flavor balance. Great blazing orange color and excellent combination of sweet and earthy aromas. gam (3924) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 8, 2012

Hazy gold, frothy with a nice white head. Floral, fruity aroma, almost reminded me of fairy floss, which I suspect means quite a bit of sugar. Tangy wheat, sweet and fruity. This is a cracking beer.

Bottle. Hazy golden pour with a large fluffy white head that lasts well. Nose has a faint trace of honey with stronger notes of white pepper, lemon, nectarine and clove. Flavour shows more citrus overtones and a strong peppery spice backbone with a bit of honey coming through in restrained waves and hints of stone and tropical fruits. Mouthfeel is dry and rather light, almost airy, with lively carbonation and a lingering spicy finish and almost no trace of the alcohol. This is really quite a fine saison, very well balanced and one of the better local examples of the style I have had in a while. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 17, 2012
Tried at the Josie Bones Beer Lunch and then back at the brewery. Actually didn’t do a lot for me, subtle but noticeable honey, didn’t notice the alcohol. Drinkable though. hawthorne00 (3943) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUN 15, 2012
Bottle, 12C. Hazy gold with a large white head that’s well retained but doesn’t leave much in the way of lacing.4 Aroma of dough, vanilla, white pepper, honey, apricots, oranges and their blossoms. The honey is subtle and very well-integrated into the aroma. Barely sweet with some stone fruit and a very little honey. A good lick of tartness before a peppery and bitter dry finish mingled with honey. Highish carbonation. No overt alcohol. Good but quite tightly wound at first - a little sweetness comes through after a while. Pretty accomplished stuff.
