From Bag in Box at a Wetherspoons. Pale hazy straw with no head. Ultra sweet apple juice cider, light palate, which is a blessing, pulpy. Not for me.

Bag In A Box at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A hazy straw colour with no head. Aroma of apple juice, a little sugar and subtle spice. Taste of apple juice, melon, slight sugar, a little barnyard and subtle spice. Light bodied and flat carbonation. A sweetish, apple finish with some spice. Not as sweet as I thought, like Copella apple juice with a lot of spice. Clean and decent overall.

Cask HP at The Crosse Keys London as Tempted Sweet, 5%. Brewed in Co Antrim. Clear pale yellow, still, minimal white head. Aroma is airy apple, light dissolved sugars. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is vanilla, apple, white sugar, glucose syrup. Sweet n simple. Very pleasant but not really what I look for in a beverage. I would still recommend it though.

Box @ Cuthbert Brodrick, Leeds. Dishwater-golden coloured Has a good sweetness in what is also a dry tasting cider. Light textured and easy drinking. There’s plenty of aroma.

Bag in a box at County Hotel Ashford JDW. Clear gold slight haze. Some apple juice but some cider tannin as well which adds character. Not too sweet. I’ve had a lot worse. It’s an ok slightly characterful sweet cider.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2016 Box, The Highcross, Leicester. Pale golden with no foam. Sweet pulpy apple juice with honey. Dusty barnyard with mixed spices. Lemony bite with musty light vinegar. Decent cider.
