Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and a touch of caramel. Taste is grapefruit bitters with a moderate amount of sweetness. Light bodied, to sweet for me. johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - APR 11, 2016
Sample from beer rep...probably best shandy i have tried....nose is all grapefruit...fairly sweet and thick beer but flavor is actually really nice...lots of citrus...refreshing...ginger not overwhelming...(#812) CardsPackHawks (173) - South Elgin, Illinois, USA - FEB 13, 2016
Was given one by the mother-in-law. Enough said. Bad. Gave to wife to finish. dnstone (3462) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - MAR 6, 2015
Nice real grapefruit citrus aroma. Hazed golden color with white head. Like a radler...sweet but not too much and a nice grapefruit character...quite dry and refreshing.

Pours hazy straw color with a 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of ginger ale mixed with lemon. Body is light with a slight syrupy thickness. Lightly fizzy, with a brief finish. Flavor of lemon mixed with a bite of ginger. Some honey underneath. Mild ginger note lingers in the finish.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a quite hazy orange-peach color with a billowy just off white head. The head dissipates over time to leave a light level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite heavy of ginger with it clearly dominating the smell. With the strong ginger, is a lighter lemonade smell and some aromas of a light honey smell as well.
Taste - The taste begins with a mix of a malty grainy taste mixed with lots of sweeter lemon tastes. Quickly ginger comes to the tongue adding an almost ginger ale type taste to the brew. In the end the ginger flavors grow stronger along with the lemonade, producing a spicy ginger and lemonade flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel-The body of the brew is actually slightly thicker then I would have expected for a shandy of only 4.4 % abv with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. The higher carbonation is great for all the spicy ginger flavors, but the body would possibly be more refreshing if slightly thinner. The thicker body was actually fairly decent overall though as it did really allow all the ginger flavors to linger on the tongue.
Overall- A rather nice take on a shandy. If you are looking for something sweeter, more lemonade and ginger ale like then this is a good go to. Nicely done for the style.

12 ounce bottle from Wegman’s Lake Manassas, opened 6/5/14. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin fizzy white head. Average head retention. Aroma of tart lemon, ginger, spice. The taste is strong ginger, candied ginger, spice, dry lemon, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering spice. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 3, 2014
From bottle. Honey ginger aroma with some citrus. Sweet and fruity. Medium amber cloudy with chunks. Thin white head. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Sweet with honey, lemon, and ginger. Herbal and sweet throughout - too sweet. Finish is ginger, lemon peel, and sugar. MayorOfSudz (74) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 15, 2014
A nice shandy overall, with some wheaty/malty notes towards the end a refreshing lemon zest. Not overly sweet or lemonade-ish, but definitely well within the bounds of a shandy. The added grapefruit juice is noticeable at the beginning and end, and fits in nicely. Pleasant.
