Not as sweet as I expected, I was expecting something similar to the summer shandy; this one is a little darker and the ginger/honey/lemon give it a more spicy less sweet flavor. I’d definitely recommend it for the foods suggested already: Indian, Thai, or Chinese would be perfect with this. Not the best to drink by itself. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky yellow color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tart artificial sugar, lemon, ginger and orange. The flavor was wheaty and bready with fairly strong notes of orange, honey and a hint of ginger. Medium length finish of bread, orange and honey. Moderately full bodied. Very nice. BREWMUSKCLES (2731) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 7, 2012
A WELL PUT TOGETHER brew with flavors of lemonade, clover honey and ginger just wafting thruout a creating nice dimension. looks somewhat like a wheat beer and there is some wheat beer in the mouthfeel. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - SEP 18, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a quite hazy orange-peach color with a billowy just off white head. The head dissipates over time to leave a light level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite heavy of ginger with it clearly dominating the smell. With the strong ginger, is a lighter lemonade smell and some aromas of a light honey smell as well.
Taste - The taste begins with a mix of a malty grainy taste mixed with lots of sweeter lemon tastes. Quickly ginger comes to the tongue adding an almost ginger ale type taste to the brew. In the end the ginger flavors grow stronger along with the lemonade, producing a spicy ginger and lemonade flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel-The body of the brew is actually slightly thicker then I would have expected for a shandy of only 4.4 % abv with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. The higher carbonation is great for all the spicy ginger flavors, but the body would possibly be more refreshing if slightly thinner. The thicker body was actually fairly decent overall though as it did really allow all the ginger flavors to linger on the tongue.
Overall- A rather nice take on a shandy. If you are looking for something sweeter, more lemonade and ginger ale like then this is a good go to. Nicely done for the style.

Quite weird and also strange. Was fruity and sweet but with not so common features in it.

12 oz bottle This was a gift from friends while at Hickory Nuts in Holden Beach. My first Shandy was in England. This was a true shandy with lemon on the nose and taste. There was some sourness but overall a very good shandy. The lemon peel dominates the ale. The shandy had average carbonation. MayorOfSudz (74) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 15, 2014
A nice shandy overall, with some wheaty/malty notes towards the end a refreshing lemon zest. Not overly sweet or lemonade-ish, but definitely well within the bounds of a shandy. The added grapefruit juice is noticeable at the beginning and end, and fits in nicely. Pleasant.

Nice real grapefruit citrus aroma. Hazed golden color with white head. Like a radler...sweet but not too much and a nice grapefruit character...quite dry and refreshing.

Pours hazy gold with mild head, the citrus blends well with the honey and ginger. jrodooo5 (1706) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - NOV 5, 2012
The pour is a murky and dull gold with no head and leaves no lacing. The aroma is very similar to ginger ale. The taste, however, is more complex. It’s actually more like your typical wheat beer with some ginger sprinkled in throughout. It surprisingly works really well! I had very little expectations for this beer but I find it drinkable and different. Not bad!
