Aroma: very malty with a little dryness; Appearance: clear dark amber with thin white head; Taste: follows nose with overly sweet body and cloying finish; odd layer of caramel; Palate: medium-heavy body; Overall: would not get again. wombat23 (1362) - Texas, USA - MAR 22, 2017
Shared 22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear dark amber hue and has a fizzy small beige head which quickly disappears. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, nuts. Taste follows nose with some roast. Finish is malty and sweet. rondphoto (4383) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - DEC 3, 2016
Thank you Courtney (niece), for bringing this back from Vegas (Yay! 1st Nevada rating) --- Semi-sweet malt aroma. Hazy brown color, ivory head that sticks at 1/2", bands of lace. Taste is chalky malt, medium fizz, and hardly any hops. The whole concoction sits a little heavy in the belly, to the point of being bloating. But, who cares? It’s a Nevada brew. Part of a flight at the brewery - whiskey brown color. The aroma reminded me of Brach’s candy as it is very sweet. Malty sweet taste as well. A little like brown sugar. If I weren’t such a huge fan of the IPA I’d probably have a full glass of this one.
