Aroma: roasty, chocolatey, coffe-ey; Appearance: pitch black with light tan head that dissipates quickly; Taste: follow nose; sweet and roasty with malty finish; Palate: heavy body with long, sweet finish; Overall: decent stout but nothing special. Wouldn’t seek out again.

A lovely smokey porter. It’s a little thin in the body. Oaty, floury flavor. A touch of coffee and a decent carbonation. It’s just missing a touch of weight to really seal the deal. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 29, 2016
