COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed using 2-Row, wheat, Vienna and caramel malts and is hopped with Summit’s for bittering and flavor and Ahtanum for aroma. This IPA was also dry-hopped, meaning hops were put in the fermentors and serving tanks to give a big citrus and spicy aroma, with Ahtanum, Challenger and Chinook hops. Our IPA is an American style IPA that has a high amount of bitterness but is well balanced and very drinkable.

22oz bomber pours copper with light tan head. The aroma has nice and bold and chewy resiny pine, spicy and grapefruit like hoppiness. Those aromatics are binding together with a modest level of sweet maltiness. Smells real nice. The taste is pleasingly similar with a great mix of pine hops, spicy heading into dank hops and grapefruit like citrus hoppiness. These notes are biased toward bitter hops but the flavor hops do carve out a bit of elbow room. Wow. This is a damn good IPA. I’m not sure if my expectations were just low or I was in the perfect mood for this. Nonetheless, well done. Yes, wow!

Thnx to tim. Pours rather clear amber. Small white head. Smell is stale hops. Bit sweet. Taste is unfresh, stale hops. Not very aromatic. Can’t say I like it.

Live rate. 22oz bottle from that place opposite The Yard House, Town Square, Las Vegas. Pours honey amber into a weizen with a strong, uneven white foam thickly lining the glass. Sponge-based tinned peach flan, batter and caramel aroma. Good rasping bitterness on the tongue beneath soft biscuit, peach, boozy orange liqueur notes. Finishes harsh and peppery with plenty of alcohol presence. Decent enough but a pint is plenty.

Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear amber with a medium white head. Malty nose with citrusy and piney hops. Malty flavor with citrusy zest and piney hops before a semi-sweet finish. Pretty nice.

Bottle thanks to izzy. Pours with a clear golden body and a white head. Aromas are fruity, pine with an herbal spiciness. Flavors are bitter and really herbal (aggressive to the point of being abrasive Chinook flavors). Lively and dry.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2014 Sampled on draft this beer poured a pale golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was grapefruit, orange and passionfruit. The flavor was grapefruit, lemon, a bit dry and had a hint of tropical fruits. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.

Sampler flight on tap at the brewery (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a nice decent hazed amber gold hue, touches of frothy whitish head ring ok. Some orange and amber glow throughout, gentle lacing. Aromas show some nice grapefruit, florals, and grass. Gentle lemon, touch of gumball. Some mellow bready sweetness. Really nice nose even through some cigarette smoke. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, nice juicy grapefruit juice and rind. Some lemon, florals, firm bitterness hits the palate. Bigger citrus element, some bread, gentle resiny hops. Touches of orange, bitter florals. A touch resiny. Middle is firmly hoppy and dry, some good bitterness, florals, and dry hoppy elements. Backend keeps on with dry and bitter qualities, some florals, gentle pine, still a grapefruit forward hop profile. Quite lovely. Really nice.
