Light amber color, hazy, with medium-sized head. Aroma of hops, resiny and fruity, but not fresh. Correct body strength, smooth mouthfeel; it has a good toffee and caramel flavor, with robust bitterness; the hopping is resiny, a bit citrusy; the final is strong; once more, good but it doesn’t seem to be ultra fresh. It’s a solid beer anyway, lean, not too cloying.
22 oz. bottle (8.5%), split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is pretty light, with tropical fruits, citrus and piney hops and caramel. Flavour of orange zest, caramel malts, and citrus hops, finishing off with bitter hops and some candied sugar. The flavours are a bit out of whack and with a semi-bitter edge to the finish, but this is very enjoyable. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 5, 2013
Orange pour with a white head. A little bit of soap and grass on the nose. Lemon, orange, and grapefruit with a little bit of tropical fruit. Sweet caramel and toffee, too. Tastes of caramel, toffee, and citrus. Grapefruit and orange notes, a bit lemony on the finish. Mild tropical notes and a fair amount of grass. Bottle - Resin and pine with a caramel bready backbone. Pale clear copper with a bubbly white head. Bitter, nutty, earthy and resinous with a bit of pine. The resin and earthy qualities is all you really get.

on tap-pours a white head and cloudy straw gold color. Aroma is mild resin. Taste is resin hops, secondary medium malt. Soft carbonation. Nice but more of an IPA than an I2PA. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - APR 28, 2015
good hop combo. slightly thin and slightly malty for me in a IIPA, but definitely passable. aroma was the strength, otherwise pretty mediocre. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 28, 2015
