Amber to red in color, light floral to the nose. Pepper, citrus and pine finish. Well rounded double IPA, too bad it is only a seasonal! dwyerpg (6368) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - FEB 18, 2009
Newest version is 8.5%. A fairly light aroma for a fresh hop beer. A bit more orange color than the Hop Ride. The flavor is great. Definitely a more bitter finish, with some caramel in the middle. Good stuff. mkel07 (6250) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAR 1, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2013 650ml bottle ,Apricot golden colour with a sand colored head of foam that lasts a while. Big resinous hop aromas that are pleasing in the nose. Big full mouthfeel that is full of piney hop flavours that sit well in the mouth and have a long lying aftertaste. A great beer from a local Las Vegas brewery. This really stands out on the shelf with the bright pink label showing a Las Vegas showgirl riding on the back of a white tiger down a flooded street. Poured up on tap at Papago with an opaque (hop haze I hope) orange-ish copper body with thick gold edges and supporting an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrusy hop notes of malt sweetened orange peel and grapefruit with slivers of resiny pine like hop bitterness. Nice start. The taste delivers rich robust hoppy goodness in the form of both citrus hop flavor and bitterness. The hop bitterness quickly gets resiny with a pine hop like sensation. Into the finish a bit of booze can be detected. Solid brew. Yum! bulldogops (2726) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 25, 2013
Rating #854 - December 23, 2013 - 650ml bottle from Coop, courtesy of a very nice customer, 8.5%. Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is citrusy, grapefruit hops predominant. Taste is extremely hop bitterness tempered with a pleasant citrusy sweetness that disguises the higher abv quite well. Glad this beer did not follow the adage and stay in Vegas.

draft, excellent hop aroma, taste of grassy, earthy, citrus, pine. The malts where sweet and caramel. Balanced brew, full body, didn’t realize it was 8.5%abv. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 10, 2009
on tap-pours a white head and cloudy straw gold color. Aroma is mild resin. Taste is resin hops, secondary medium malt. Soft carbonation. Nice but more of an IPA than an I2PA. Matts_Property (837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 8, 2012
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper orange with white lacing. Aroma of piney hops, resin, oils, bitter citrus, orange peel. Flavour of bitter hops, aforementioned qualities, soap and caramel. Very bitter, not very balanced. Nice. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 25, 2013
Bottle. Amber with fair head. Big bold hoppy beer. Hops are medicinal and herbal. Big flavour. Big taste. Big hops. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 31, 2012
Bottle from Legacy Liquor Store, Vancouver, 8.5% ABV
Light amber color, hazy, with medium-sized head. Aroma of hops, resiny and fruity, but not fresh. Correct body strength, smooth mouthfeel; it has a good toffee and caramel flavor, with robust bitterness; the hopping is resiny, a bit citrusy; the final is strong; once more, good but it doesn’t seem to be ultra fresh. It’s a solid beer anyway, lean, not too cloying.
