Gold medal pils - not a standout or anything, but surprised at the low scores. Crisp and clean and pleasant throughout if nothing special. Mostly bready malt, with a touch of hop bite. deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 27, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grain and a bit of popcorn with a hint of grass. Flavor has sweet grains and popcorn with a hint of green apple for the finish. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 27, 2015

Tap at Monte Carlo Pub in Vegas. Clear rich yellow pour with a white head. Buttery grain on aroma and taste.
FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Sampled on draft this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tart perfume with vague fruity hops and a bit of chalk. The flavor was tart, sour and a bit off with notes of fruity hops and egg white. Medium length finish. Light body. Not good. Sledutah (7559) - Utah, USA - APR 5, 2011

Appearance: Clear yellow with a small white head and good lacing
Aroma: Light malts, citrus and corn
Taste: Light malts, citrus with a slightly bitter finish
Ok, I liked the bitter finish.
Sampler flight on tap at the brewery (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a gentle pale yellow hue, crisp straw, subtle faint haze with lively carbonation. A small frothy bright white head atop dies to a filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas show gentle bready malt, a gentle spiciness, cleaner sweet elements. Bread, straw, some grass. Gentle spiciness. Ok, a bit vague. Initial is well carbonated and a bit fuzzy up front. Bready malts meet a ton of green apple, a bit tart, some florals, gentle spice. Odd soapy feel. More green apple, a bit tart. Middle comes a bit back to life. Lighter end of the fold, well carbonated, dry and straw feel. Crisp bready malt, a bit crusty. Firmly dry. Backend and finish is a bit spicy, some straw, grass, and mellow dry elements. A bit odd at times, especially up front. A green apple and soapy harshness at times. Not my thing. Tap at Banger Brewing, Las Vehas. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some hints of fruits, some grain and malts. Very boring. Braudog (6719) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - AUG 20, 2002
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2003 Light golden color. Sweet malty nose. Smooth light malt flavors with hint of cereal finish. Good brew pub pilsner.
