Draft at GABF. Pours a mostly clear gold with a nice white head. Nose is grainy, lots of pils malt notes. Crisp and clean with some light herbal hopping. On taste, it’s clean and simple. Easy drinking, balanced. Nothing really shines, but not a bad beer at all. hellbilly (3249) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 6, 2009
clear pale straw yellow color with a thin white head and some spotty lacing.
solvent-y alcohol aroma...ick, followed by grainy sweetness and fruit.
the palate is WAY too sweet... flavors of strawberries, lemon and spicy grain.
medium bodied leaning on syrupy which keeps it from being refreshing or enjoyable. 3/3/4/2/8/2.0 Gription79 (2886) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - APR 5, 2012
On draft at the brewery. Looks like a great pilsner. Aromas of corn, sulfur, and some graininess. The flavor is some graininess, but mostly an over powering bitterness. This easy drinking pilsner would be great in the Las Vegas great. Itzjerm (2794) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - APR 25, 2017
Thin fading head. swirling brings back. Flavor and aroma pilsner malt. Very thick sweet body. A very nice beer. Medium body. For a pilsner needs a bit more crisp but still a good beer. lb4lb (2587) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 6, 2007
Nice simple apple juice like fruity yeasty malt aroma. Clear medium gold color. Nice crispness, yet a bit thin. Lightly hopped, but I thought this was actually a pretty decent pilsner and was one of the better beers at Tenaya Creek.

It think they called it a "European Pilsener", that explains the gold at the GABF.....taste was reminiscent of water. ghawener (1604) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JAN 7, 2013
Draft: most micro / craft brewers struggle with the style of beer, no room for error. Food Pairing: Cheese quesadillas. AceOfHearts (1374) - Mountain View, California, USA - NOV 10, 2002
Very watery, weak, and almost flavorless except for a slight woody taste. Supposedly this won gold at the GABF one year...I’ve never given too much credit to GABF wins, but this had to be either a different beer or a bad keg. wombat23 (1362) - Texas, USA - APR 29, 2017
12 oz. can. Pours a pale straw color with a slight haziness. White head. Aroma of pils malt, floral notes. Taste is honey, pils malt, a bit of spiciness. Finish is mildly bitter and somewhat sweet. bitter (1136) - Henderson, Nevada, USA - APR 12, 2004
on tap at brewpub: had to try this one because it won gold at the GABF. color was clear yellow with white head. not much aroma, maybe some slight malt. in the mouth bitter saaz hops and some hints of malt. pretty thin also. reminds me of a good european pilsner but watered down. somebody likes it, gold at GABF!!!
