On tap at the brewery. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Light malty aromas. Really good body. Pleasant malty notes. Very good balance. I am not a fan of Pilsners, but this is an exception. It truly is, the very best beer of that style I have ever had.

Sample at brewpub. Ok nose, litely lemon and sourdough. Clean pale yellow color. Sweet and bitter. Citrus, lemon lime, toasted malts, hint of a clove or corriander. Lite body, kinda creamy, little bite on finish. Tasty enough, very drinkable. Though it was my first brew of the day and I had been hiking for a few hours so almost anything would of been good.

Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2004
Light golden and clear with a thin head. Light and lively carbonation; light body. Fairly sweet base (cereal, grains). Hops were grassy and flowery. Mild bitterness. Really missed a saaz kick.

Draft at GABF. Pours a mostly clear gold with a nice white head. Nose is grainy, lots of pils malt notes. Crisp and clean with some light herbal hopping. On taste, it’s clean and simple. Easy drinking, balanced. Nothing really shines, but not a bad beer at all.

hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 6, 2009
clear pale straw yellow color with a thin white head and some spotty lacing. solvent-y alcohol aroma...ick, followed by grainy sweetness and fruit. the palate is WAY too sweet... flavors of strawberries, lemon and spicy grain. medium bodied leaning on syrupy which keeps it from being refreshing or enjoyable. 3/3/4/2/8/2.0

Itzjerm (3111) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - APR 25, 2017
Thin fading head. swirling brings back. Flavor and aroma pilsner malt. Very thick sweet body. A very nice beer. Medium body. For a pilsner needs a bit more crisp but still a good beer.

On draft at the brewery. Looks like a great pilsner. Aromas of corn, sulfur, and some graininess. The flavor is some graininess, but mostly an over powering bitterness. This easy drinking pilsner would be great in the Las Vegas great.

Nice simple apple juice like fruity yeasty malt aroma. Clear medium gold color. Nice crispness, yet a bit thin. Lightly hopped, but I thought this was actually a pretty decent pilsner and was one of the better beers at Tenaya Creek.

It think they called it a "European Pilsener", that explains the gold at the GABF.....taste was reminiscent of water.

12 oz. can. Pours a pale straw color with a slight haziness. White head. Aroma of pils malt, floral notes. Taste is honey, pils malt, a bit of spiciness. Finish is mildly bitter and somewhat sweet.
