12 oz. can. Pours a pale straw color with a slight haziness. White head. Aroma of pils malt, floral notes. Taste is honey, pils malt, a bit of spiciness. Finish is mildly bitter and somewhat sweet.

ghawener (1607) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JAN 7, 2013
Draft: most micro / craft brewers struggle with the style of beer, no room for error. Food Pairing: Cheese quesadillas.

TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 5, 2013
Sampler flight on tap at the brewery (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a gentle pale yellow hue, crisp straw, subtle faint haze with lively carbonation. A small frothy bright white head atop dies to a filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas show gentle bready malt, a gentle spiciness, cleaner sweet elements. Bread, straw, some grass. Gentle spiciness. Ok, a bit vague. Initial is well carbonated and a bit fuzzy up front. Bready malts meet a ton of green apple, a bit tart, some florals, gentle spice. Odd soapy feel. More green apple, a bit tart. Middle comes a bit back to life. Lighter end of the fold, well carbonated, dry and straw feel. Crisp bready malt, a bit crusty. Firmly dry. Backend and finish is a bit spicy, some straw, grass, and mellow dry elements. A bit odd at times, especially up front. A green apple and soapy harshness at times. Not my thing.

deyholla (11604) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 27, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grain and a bit of popcorn with a hint of grass. Flavor has sweet grains and popcorn with a hint of green apple for the finish.

JK (6160) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - OCT 31, 2015
GABF 2015. A little sweet for a pilsner, malt, but it is hard to get away from the sweet flavor I am picking up and it is far too much for a pils. It is drinkable enough.

2.3
HighGravity (926) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 20, 2004
(Great American Beer Festival 2004) Fairly weak pils. More in the style of a continental lager. No malt hop to be found.

2.3
Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2004
Light golden and clear with a thin head. Light and lively carbonation; light body. Fairly sweet base (cereal, grains). Hops were grassy and flowery. Mild bitterness. Really missed a saaz kick.

tiggmtl (4545) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 7, 2005
Leafy, green, vegetal hop nose. Hazy yellow golden coloured body with a low white head that recedes to ring. Grainy sweet malt flavour with some herbal hops and light bitterness. Light body with crisp, sharp, overly strong carbonation and somewhat watery texture. Sampled at GABF 2005.

2.2
Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 5, 2006
Dull straw colour. Slight diacetyl, slight grain and some spiciness. A bit peanutty, and also a bit underfermented (worty). Herbal but sweet finish. Almost tastes like Delster NA.

2.2
FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Sampled on draft this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was tart perfume with vague fruity hops and a bit of chalk. The flavor was tart, sour and a bit off with notes of fruity hops and egg white. Medium length finish. Light body. Not good.
