Gold and clear-brief head and minimal lacing. Aroma more prominent than the actual taste: floral hops and grainey malt. Grainey flavor with a bit of a biscuity quality. Thin body and sticky finish. Way overpriced for the quality you get. If I want a good pale lager, I’ll go with Leinenkugel’s Original. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2008
Golden with a rather small head. The aroma has notes of malt and some fruity hops - but not much. The flavour is smooth with a light sweetness, notes of malt and hints of fruity hops. Harmless and uncomplicated - and that’s about it! BREWMUSKCLES (2721) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 15, 2007
wasnt always this bad -was it? - used to think this was a good brew. probably before i quit smoking 24 years ago! shame for a scotch brew. garthicus (2937) - Dublin, IRELAND - APR 4, 2007
I hated this beer nefore I even tasted it, it screams of winos and bums sitting in doorways, greedily supping from the lip of a can. Poured flatish, smelled of nothing in particular, awful taste, awful beer. Never again faroeviking (11026) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 21, 2007
Can. Golden colour with a small rather short lasting white bubbly head. Aroma of malt and grains, bit of hoppiness. Flavour is malty, bit sweet, grainy with a bit of a bittersweet finish.

Bottled. Clear, golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of black-currant, malt ald grass. Flavor is much the same, with an amount of sweetness. Ok body with some stickyness. Bitter finish. (060130) rauchbier (3908) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2005
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Cleethorpes.Label reads Tennent’s 1885. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Barely discernable malt in the nose, low grain in the mouth with a touch of hop bitterness. Finish is quite dry with a chalky bitter note lingering.

From a Can.Light gold in colour,no head,some malt,heavy alcohol,quite sweet,thin and hard to finish. imdownthepub (15008) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2004
Canned. Golden coloured with fizzed head. Raw alcohol notes as though it was added back and cheap ingredients giving a nasty thin brew, Never again. YellowKoala99 (9) - ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2003 does not count
A very decent strong version of the standard lager - not quite as good though.
