I agree with Ol_Juntan: definately not much original taste to this lager, heck almost tastes like an ale. Flavorwise itís bland with a hint of citrus, stronger on the hops and malt though. Palette is very thin, and somewhat diluted. I wouldnít drink it again, I donít think. OlJuntan64 (1265) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 22, 2002
Medium gold clear under a medium size and medium lasting white head. Skunkiness detected immediately on opening of bottle but disappeared after about a minute leaving a faint stale hops and light malt aroma. Medium body with raw almost alcoholic palate. Light cornsweet, roasted malt and a faint hops flavours. Not good. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - AUG 29, 2002
This lager is almost Yuck! but not quite. Malty aroma. Golden colour, good lace. Light bitter, light sweet, malty. Very light bodied. Sigmund (7394) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 16, 2002
An ordinary lager, easily drinkable without too much of anything. However, I wonít buy it again of two reasons: a) In Norway, the price is twice that of domestic lagers / pilsener, while the beer isnít that much better (well, itís 0,3 - 0,5% stronger). b): When in Scotland, I will most certainly prefer a good Scottish ale to any lager! snapdharlich (29) - SCOTLAND - FEB 11, 2002
A bit more flavour than standard Tennents lager, although not as frightening as Tennents super. Thoroughly enjoyable.

pretty crap beer, couldnít finish the bottle, to dry and a bit pissy. mike mcneil (660) - St Augustine, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2001
Deep gold color; overall a mild brew, but with a nice malt and hop balance; decent body and a long, dry hop finish.
