A bit more flavour than standard Tennents lager, although not as frightening as Tennents super. Thoroughly enjoyable. YellowKoala99 (9) - ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2003 does not count
A very decent strong version of the standard lager - not quite as good though. mike mcneil (660) - St Augustine, Florida, USA - JAN 12, 2001
Deep gold color; overall a mild brew, but with a nice malt and hop balance; decent body and a long, dry hop finish. JesseM (1158) - Margaritaville, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 10, 2012
500mL lykkbo can. Pours nice bright gold with a huge white head that retains itself, unnaturally. Aroma is kind of corny and not very good, weird dustiness. No hops. Flavour is much better, decent grainy pils malts, mild bitterness that hints of hop extract. Mild carbonation which I love. Over-all very sweet but not cloyingly. Pretty decent lager actually, wouldn’t expect that from Scotland but hey whatever it’s cool man. Sigmund (7759) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 16, 2002
An ordinary lager, easily drinkable without too much of anything. However, I won't buy it again of two reasons: a) In Norway, the price is twice that of domestic lagers / pilsener, while the beer isn't that much better (well, it's 0,3 - 0,5% stronger). b): When in Scotland, I will most certainly prefer a good Scottish ale to any lager!

I agree with Ol_Juntan: definately not much original taste to this lager, heck almost tastes like an ale. Flavorwise it's bland with a hint of citrus, stronger on the hops and malt though. Palette is very thin, and somewhat diluted. I wouldn't drink it again, I don't think. yngwie (17102) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2006
Bottled. Clear, golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of black-currant, malt ald grass. Flavor is much the same, with an amount of sweetness. Ok body with some stickyness. Bitter finish. (060130) barncatmatt (2287) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2012

Golden with a rather small head. The aroma has notes of malt and some fruity hops - but not much. The flavour is smooth with a light sweetness, notes of malt and hints of fruity hops. Harmless and uncomplicated - and that’s about it!
