This was picked up in my local Tesco after being reduced to clear, Iíd seen it on the shelf a few times but not being a great (mass produced) lager drinker, and it being a 6pack, I left it where it was! In the past however, I rather liked Tennents Gold Bier, and I kinda miss it, "This could be the same thing relabelled at a slightly lower ABV" I thought ...thatís why I bought the reduced pack!! This isnít Gold Bier :( itís pretty much a slightly fuller bodied version of the bog standard "lager" produced by Tennentís, and as I REALLY donít like that, I cant say I took to this! The only problem I have now is how to dispose of the other 5 bottles...I hate waste, but this may just end up down the sink!
Pale straw color with good head.
Mild bitterness with slight body but a clean finish.
Nothing spectacular here but OK as a cheap quaffer. Blairgus (4535) - California, USA - DEC 12, 2016

500ml can into shaker. 5%. Bought from bottle shop near Broadway, Sydney. Nose is cardboard, tin, bread, bubblegum and pepper. Crystal clear golden amber with two fingers of frothy white head. Light carbonation. Full bodied, good texture, a little zing. Taste is malty and the finish is mostly cardboard with a hint of cooked vegetables. Capa (3251) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - SEP 16, 2016
Clear gold with a tall head that fizzed off quickly. Toasty biscuit, corn, light earthy hop notes. Medium thin body. Flavor finishes with a lot of toasted malt and light earthy hops. Clean. Decent. (My can was labeled 5% abv.) Maersk (259) - MOLDOVA - JUN 23, 2016
Clear straw color. Lots of carb. Smells wort and hops. Empty body, wet grains and malt in the taste. Drinkable, but not more than that

Gold with a white foamy head. Aroma of pale malts/hops. Taste is watery and pale lager. No other flavors. kingaugusta (270) - Georgia, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Pours clear blonde with a fine white head. Nose is a mix of sweet bread and European hops that lean slightly skunked. Flavor is fairly sweet for a pale lager with decent balance. better than most American pale lager but that isnít saying much. melush (3941) - SPAIN - JAN 2, 2016
