Canned. Alcoholic, bit malty, bit hoppy aroma. Clear, copper coloured with a large, off-white, frothy head. Taste is very sweet, very alcoholic, sugary, slightly malty and just a bit hoppy. Sticky and burning mouthfeel. This beer is like a nascar racetrack. larsniclas (7070) - Billdal, SWEDEN - MAY 1, 2007
Golden with a small, frothy head.
Flavour from some marcipan, but overwhelmed by the alcohol. Impossible to finish! MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 18, 2007
Bottle, 9% in Rome. Peppery mash aroma. Clear dark copper colour. OK semi-stable head. Sweet marcipan flavour. Warming/burning alcohol flavour. Late bitterness, a bit rough. Maltier than most strong lagers. beerandrugby (210) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 16, 2007
Are you a raging drunk? No, well do you want to get pished on your walk from work? OK, have a super Rab C. Nesbitt!! I will. rmussman (1701) - California, USA - MAR 5, 2007
Sampled last summer. After spending most of the week on tennents lager, we upgraded to the stong lager just to see how it was. It was definitely stronger but just as bad. See review of regular lager.

Can. Yellowy-gold colour, Nose is syrupy, overly sweet, alcohol, and some hops. Taste is overbearingly sweet, mouth coating. Finish is sweet, thick and hard to swallow. I suppose it would get you mashed, but apart from that, horrid. faroeviking (10912) - FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 6, 2007
Can. Golden colour, sweet alcoholic grainy aroma, which appears well in the flavour along with some maltiness. Sweet dryish bit uncomfortable finish. Oh man, those Scots. GarethYoung (1111) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - DEC 28, 2006

Canned, Yellow coloured almost no carbonation and a small white head. Sweet malty aroma, medium sweet body with some very light sprankling. Finish is malty, dry with one unpleasant metallic salty finish. Not good. Slayer85 (1051) - Firenze, ITALY - OCT 16, 2006
Blonde/orange colour, with a fast disappearing head. Not much aroma, hidden by alcohol. The taste is dominated by sweetness, with hop presence from low ton non existent. Not so ugly like many says, in this style there’s worst, however not an unforgettable beer.
