Following the acquisistion of the Tennents brands from AB InBev by C & C Group, this beer was immediately licensed back, so effectively remains an AB InBev brand.
The current brewing location is unknown - unfortunately, AB InBev doesn’t seem to consider it important to provide consumers with full information on all their brands, or their provenance.

What is this shit ? It is offensive to call this a beer. The only taste is of pure alcohol. Never ever gonna have this again.

500ml can (thanks FatPhil). Dark golden color. Straight from can. Geez what’s that aroma? Has someone died in this can? Has someone pissed in this can? Being soaked in alcohol? World class horror! Just pure alcohol with extra added nastiness in taste. GEEEEEZ!!!! Where is the QA when you need them? Never again!

500ml can (random convenience store, Denham)
Nasty fusel acrid aroma, apple? Pale, flat. Post-apocalyptic horror taste. Crazy booze, crazy fusels, nasty acrid bitterness too. Utter abomination. One of the worst things that has actually pretended to be a beer. (Other horrors were shitty radlers or horrific brewing fuckups.) Dear god, why?!?!?

Beer for everyone, drinkable but without qualities. Metallic, watery etc...

50cl can. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Nasty chemical aftertaste. Dreadful

Bottiglia.

Bottle in Napoli-- Pours clear golden with thin white head. Nose is sweet malts. Aromas are sweet malts, spicy hops. Average carbonation, light body. Short spicy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brewed in UK, 8%. BB Aug 16. Poured a crystal clear mid-amber colour with a one-finger off-white dense foam head that retained OK and laced poorly. Carbonation low and coarse. Aroma very subtly of grainy malt. Taste is very strong grainy malt then becomes quite sweet/sugary with some alcohol. Light body. Clean, smooth and sweet with a slight but off-putting alcohol ’burn’ on the finish. Suggests serving ’ice cold’ - to mask the alcohol level.

440ml can from Scotmid. 8%. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of sugar, malt, cooked vegetables, something metallic. Taste is sweet. Nothing much else going on. Builds to a pretty rank climax though. Something suggesting poor drainage or immense gastric distress. And after all that, still not as bad as I was expecting!

Bottle @ some light deli along the river in Pisa, Italy. Clear amber, white head that drops to a full cover, a few lace dots. Taste is light brisk malt and carbonation that smoothly adds European hops, then moves to a finish where an otherwise light brew suddenly ads noticeable alcohol. Reasonable, but one is enough.
