tastes of stewed apples, metho, and puke. currently have nasty headache which i blame entirely on half a can of this delicious nectar. so much suffering has gone into that crown beside my name...

Between mediocre and poor. Intriguingly repugnant with shallow palate. Wouldn’t go for a 2nd bottle.

Well while others are lambasting it, I have tasted worse, in fact a lot worse. Pours a medium gold clear under a small, short lasting head. Alcohol is actually quite well masked in the aroma when cold, and there is a faint hint of stone fruit and alcohol as it warms. The palate is faintly cheap vinous with a raw alcohol and bitter start moving to sweetish bitter on warming. Finish and aftertaste are like a cross between a really bad strong Belgian and an experimental cheap sweet white wine made by some of my fathers wanna-be wine making mates.

Old rate. Pint can while on holiday in Venice. Pours a light Gold with a white head. Aroma is flat and uninspiring with a booziness. The taste is a full malty body with a alcohol warmth. Some bitterness on the palate. One dimensional and meant for a quick frat-boy drunk.

Bottle & Draft. Pours rather clear orange honey-brown with basically no head. Aroma is fairly weak, but contains notes of citrus, barley, and yeast. Full bodied with a boozy, warm mouthfeel. Drank this a few times in Italy due to high ABV since brews were few an far between (and pricey). Probably rated a bit higher due to sentiment, but still should be rated much higher overall. Decent strong lager.

Bottle in Napoli-- Pours clear golden with thin white head. Nose is sweet malts. Aromas are sweet malts, spicy hops. Average carbonation, light body. Short spicy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
