Bottle @ some light deli along the river in Pisa, Italy. Clear amber, white head that drops to a full cover, a few lace dots. Taste is light brisk malt and carbonation that smoothly adds European hops, then moves to a finish where an otherwise light brew suddenly ads noticeable alcohol. Reasonable, but one is enough.

It appears i am one of the few who enjoyed this beer. It smelled alright to me and it tasted like one of the couple of beers that I had that were aged in the bottle like 5 or 7 years, except much better.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2007 On tap, in Rome, Italy, at Campo di Fiori. Nice strong lager, well balanced.

Bottle, pours yellow/orange with a tall rocky white head. Aroma is strong of malts with a good hop aroma that is citric. Taste is slightly sweet and sour with modedrate bitterness. Flavors are borderline tripel but the alcohol is non-existant in the mouth. Carbonation is light and helps it go down easy.

Pretty decent alcohol delivery system. Nothing much to look at. Sweet smell. Little alcohol burn, sweet corn water flavor. Toss a few of these back and you’re all set to rock-n-roll!

Bottle from a Roma mini mart. Pours amber gold with a frothy white head. Mildly fruity aroma. Full bodied. Flavor is caramel/toffee with a bit of fruity hop. Somewhat sweet. Heat is noticeable. Actually tolerable.

Some head, deep golden. Light sugary nose. Medium heavy body. Some length. Has a disturbing dry note in the sugary taste. Unballanced, but will get you drunk quickly if thats what you want

Can. This jet fuel poured orange. Smells like creamed corn. Boozy malts. Drinks better than some in the "tramp beer enthusiasts" list of favorites. It’s got the honey like tobacco hops going on. Caramel malts.. Some Apple some chewy grassy hop. Look it’s almost like a cheap Belgian. Ok!
