Bottle & Draft. Pours rather clear orange honey-brown with basically no head. Aroma is fairly weak, but contains notes of citrus, barley, and yeast. Full bodied with a boozy, warm mouthfeel. Drank this a few times in Italy due to high ABV since brews were few an far between (and pricey). Probably rated a bit higher due to sentiment, but still should be rated much higher overall. Decent strong lager.

50cl Can at my girlfriend’s grandparents’ house. I was quite shocked they offered this when I asked for a beer. Deep golden colour, bubbley white head. Aroma of fruity esters, alcohol, sweet, caramel. Flavour is sweet, light malty, fruity, alcohol, light bitter alcoholic finish. Light to medium bodied. Not bad, no real nasty flavours. Not good as well.

Bottle, 9% in Rome. Peppery mash aroma. Clear dark copper colour. OK semi-stable head. Sweet marcipan flavour. Warming/burning alcohol flavour. Late bitterness, a bit rough. Maltier than most strong lagers.

500ml can. Large frothy white headatop a bright gold base. Aroma of grain and hay mixed in with some malt. Smooth and silky in the mouth and you can really taste the strong alcohol content that leaves a warm glow in your throat.

Can from local offie. Golden amber beer with large frothy head. Aroma is malty and some orchard fruits. Taste is malts, herbal, some caramel and a bit of alcohol harshness in the finish. A little oil on the palate. Not bad really.
